Metalloobrabotka-Technoforum’2009 opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds

Earlier today, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Andrei Dementiev opened the Metalloobrabotka-Technoforum’2009 noting that during today’s economic hardships this event bears a special importance.  

Welcome addresses were forwarded by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Sechin; President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Aleksander Shokhin; Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov; Director General of the Rostechnologii State Corporation, Chairman of the Russian Engineering Union Sergey Chemezov.

The Official Opening Ceremony was also attended by representatives of foreign machine building associations, including Director General of the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW) Wilfried Schaefer, Head of the Swissmem Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technology Group Christoph Blaettler and other officials.
