Expocentre's delegation visited the EMO world trade show in Hannover

The official opening ceremony of EMO Hannover 2019, a trade show for the metalworking industry, took place on September, 16 in one of the largest fairgrounds of Europe Deutsche Messe in Hannover (Germany).

The participants in the opening ceremony were President of CECIMO Dr. Roland Feichtl, Minister President of Lower Saxony Stephan Weil, Member of the Board of Management Deutsche Telekom AG Adel Al-Saleh, and Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Andreas Scheuer.

Expocentre's delegation consisting of Head of Exhibition Operating Management Ekaterina Bednova, Deputy Head of Exhibition Operating Management, Head of Heavy Industries Exhibitions Division Elena Guseva, and Head of Projects of Heavy Industries Exhibitions Division Irina Levyakova also took part in the opening ceremony.

At EMO Hannover 2019 new products for industrial production were showcased by more than 2,200 exhibitors from 47 countries, among them major market players such as DMG Mori, FFG, Mazak, Siemens, Grob, Doosan, Fanuc, Okuma, Makino, Index, GF Machining Solutions, Chiron, Trumpf, SLM, Stratasys, Paul Horn, Iscar, Sandvik, Kuka, plus many others.

Representatives of Expocentre AO and the Stankoinstrument Russian Association of Machine-Tool Manufacturers made presentations of the Metalloobrabotka and Technoforum exhibitions for foreign industry associations.

As a result of negotiations, the agreement has been reached with the Japan Machine Tool Builders' Association on arrangement of the Japan pavilion at Metalloobrabotka 2020.

The German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW), represented by a member of the VDW Management Board Klaus Peter Kunmunch, confirmed the intention to arrange the German group stand at Metalloobrabotka 2020. A preliminary agreement has been reached on mutual promotion of EMO and Metalloobrabotka. The SWISSMEM Association has confirmed its increase in the exhibition space of their national pavilion at Metalloobrabotka in 2020.

Metalloobrabotka hits the world top ten trade shows. In 2020 it will run from May 25 through 29 at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow.
