Show Highlights

This Metalloobrabotka presents two new sectors:  Robotics and Industrial Automation and Welding and Related Technologies.

The Russian Association of Robotics (RAR), with assistance of the Stankoinstrument Association and support of Expocentre AO, acts as a partner of Robotics and Industrial Automation and arranges supporting events running within this new sector. The new showcase includes products of the world's leading manufacturers, robot software, technology for design and modeling of robotic systems, tooling, and other related equipment.

One of the central showcases is the new Welding and Related Technologies sector, which will occupy the whole Pavilion No.6. The exhibits include welding related tools and equipment, science intensive technologies which improve welding efficiency, introduction of Industry 4.0 into welding, new automation solutions, innovative methods of welding production management, 3D modelling and offline programming of welding systems, and vocational training for welders. The new sector will also feature one of the sessions of the 9th International Forum on Materials Processing Technology, Robotics and Industry 4.0.

The Metalloobrabotka organisers pay close attention to additive manufacturing which is an integral part of the Industry 4.0 concept. The Additive Manufacturing. Industrial 3D Printing sector will continue in Pavilion No.5. Several supporting presentations and workshops will cover the most relevant issues of additive manufacturing. One of the sections of the 9th International Forum on Materials Processing Technology, Robotics and Industry 4.0 will be devoted to additive manufacturing in industrial production.

Moscow Export Centre helped to arrange a group stand of Moscow machine building enterprises, which are this year's newcomers to Metalloobrabotka.

The Stankoinstrument Association and Expocentre AO have significantly expanded the Science, Vocational Education and Production section. This year it presents 17 of Russia's leading universities including such well-known ones as the Bauman Moscow State Technical University and the Moscow State Technological University Stankin. The Association also arranges a showcase of foreign national machine building associations.

A full color anniversary issue of the Metalloobrabotka newspaper is to be published during the exhibition.

The Employment Centre at Metalloobrabotka gives information about current job offers of exhibiting companies, posts CVs, and offers professional career development consultations.

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions project, aimed at minimizing counterfeit products showcased at exhibitions and illegal copying of new exhibited products and developments, operates online.
