Opinions of top officials
Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia
"Over the last four years the Russian machine building industry has been showing an increase in production. Every year Metalloobrabotka has more and more new exhibits designed and manufactured in Russia. We have not only to bring these products to the domestic market, though it is quite large and our foreign partners are interested in it too, but also to develop new products to export them not only to neighboring countries but also worldwide."
Georgy Samodurov, President of the Stankoinstrument Russian Association of Machine-Tool Manufacturers
"Metalloobrabotka is an indicator of the machine building industry's current state and prospects. This show determines trends in creation of advanced technologies and design of metalworking equipment. It has grown in comparison to the previous edition. The number of exhibitors grew despite the current economic difficulties. Top and mid-level executives change their approach to working at the trade show. We are happy to see it. National pavilions were well assembled. The UK national pavilion was here for the first time. The show also had the first exhibitor from Australia. Metalloobrabotka goes more global."
