Anton Alikhanov: Metalloobrabotka has been Russia’s main trade show of the metalworking industry for decades

Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, has forwarded a welcome address to the organisers, exhibitors and visitors to the 26th edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metalworking Industry – Metalloobrabotka 2026.

In the address, the minister highlights the strategic importance of the industry saying that it is the basis of Russia’s technological sovereignty. For decades, Metalloobrabotka has been the main platform in Russia to showcase advanced developments of domestic and foreign machine tool manufacturers.

“The show’s participants sign major contracts, develop international cooperation and export potential, and discuss relevant issues and innovative solutions,” says Anton Alikhanov.

The mister is positive that this year’s rich conference programme will facilitate the exchange of technologies, build business ties, and strengthen partnerships between professionals of the metalworking equipment market.
