Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin visited Metalloobrabotka 2025. He toured the display area with Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, and Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia.

The Metalloobrabotka International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metalworking Industry has been held since 1984. Today, it is one of the largest international trade shows in the machine-tool industry. This year the show celebrates its 25th anniversary edition. The event welcomes more than 1.2 thousand exhibitors, including about 840 companies from 50 regions of Russia, as well as companies from Belarus, China, India, Italy, South Korea, and Turkiye.

The conference programme of the exhibition is focused on applied tasks and strategic issues of development of basic industries.

The key attention in the business part is paid to the implementation of the National Project on Means of Production and Automation, its goals, key indicators, and state support measures. Other important topics are the issues of technological leadership as a priority direction of industrial policy, including the issues of import independence, development of scientific and technological potential, and training of highly qualified personnel.

The event serves as a key platform for the presentation of advanced developments in the machine tool industry and promotes the creation of sustainable production and technological chains. It is focused on promoting industrial cooperation, strengthening ties between manufacturers, suppliers and consumers, introducing Russian solutions and expanding import-independent supplies of equipment and components.
