Video message to Metalloobrabotka 2021 of Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association (JMTBA)

I am Kazuo Yuhara, President of the Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association (JMTBA). On behalf of JMTBA, I would like to congratulate you on the opening of METALLOOBRABOTKA 2021”, Russia’s largest international machine tool trade fair.

METALLOOBRABOTKA is the place we can observe the latest machines of Russia. We also recognize that this is the most important event for the Russian machine tool industries as an opportunity to establish networks with overseas partners.

In Russia, as large-scale vaccination of COVID-19 proceeds, early recovery of economic activities is expected, and it will have a positive impact on machine tool demand.

In Japan, [we will host] JIMTOF Tokyo 2022 [is scheduled to be held] at Tokyo Big Sight in the autumn of 2022.  We will take preventive measures against COVID-19 and make JIMTOF a “real” exhibition where you can directly talk with the person in charge while touching the actual products.
We hope that both exhibitions will be the good opportunities to further invigorate machine tool businesses in the world.

I conclude my speech by praying for the great success of METALLOOBRABOTKA 2021.
