Science and vocational education at Metalloobrabotka 2019

The Science, Vocational Education and Production section has grown considerably at the Metalloobrabotka 2019 international exhibition held at Expocentre Fairgrounds. This year the section includes 17 leading Russian universities, among them Bauman Moscow State Technical University and STANKIN Moscow State Technological University which not only showcase their new developments  but also take part in a rich supporting program.

For example, STANKIN Moscow State Technological University will first present a layout of digital unmanned production, AxiOMA Control and Perspektiva universal CNC system, and 3D model of engraving and milling machine developed by the university experts and student teams.

The university also organised and co-organised a number of interesting events. On the eve of the 9th International Forum on Materials Processing Technology, Robotics and Industry 4.0, STANKIN arranged a discussion platform on Digital Innovations in Machine Building. The university initiated the international conference on Automation and IT for students, postgraduates and young researchers and the Russian Conference on Digital Economy: Technologies, Management, Human Assets.

Today, researchers of the university and their colleagues from other related colleges and science and technology centres held the section on Additive Manufacturing in Industrial Production.
