Moscow, Feb. 13, 2017 Moscow Machine Building Production Plant SALUT will demonstrate at the Metalloobrabotka 2017 exhibition its ÌSH600 5-axis machining center for the manufacturing of compressor blades.

The machining center is capable of high speed heavy milling and high speed semi-finished milling of single blade surfaces. A high speed motor-driven spindle has a vectorial control with a wide gear range. This allows heavy milling with a low spindle speed and high torque effect, as well as the finishing at a high speed.

The machining center is designed with a 15% axial inclination to the horizontal of the milling spindle. The center can be used for all-inclusive high speed mechanical treatment of parts made of various materials in the context of small batch and regular batch production. It can perform drilling, thread cutting, contour and 3D milling, boring, thread milling simultaneous with the drilling of small and average size parts by a combined tool.

The organizers of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metalworking Industry – Metalloobrabotka 2017 are Expocentre AO and the Russian Association of Machine Tool Manufacturers Stankoinstrument. The exhibition will take place at Moscow’s Expocentre from May 15 through May 19, 2017.
