On October 24-27, 2016, Pavilion No.1 of Expocentre Fairgrounds hosts the International Exhibition for Equipment and Technology for Processing of Construction Materials Technoforum 2016.  

Technoforum is carried out by Expocentre and the Stankoinstrument Russian Association of Machine-Tool Manufacturers with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Technoforum was awarded the UFI approved logo for its successful growth.

First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Gleb Nikitin said in his welcome address to the Technoforum participants and organizers, “The show is unique because it showcases the full range of innovative equipment, devices and tools for processing of various materials. 

Every year Technoforum attracts more and more Russian and foreign machinery manufacturers. Its international nature offers a perfect opportunity to sign contracts with foreign partners, expansion of investment-related cooperation in the field of the latest developments, and integration of the Russian machine building into the global market.” 

Technoforum 2016 is a unique event, which demonstrates the whole range of technologies and equipment for processing of construction materials which are developed and designed using innovative and additive technologies and are intended for upgrade of machine building and defense industry enterprises.

This year about 100 Russian and foreign enterprises, distributors, R&D centers from Belarus, Germany, Russia, Taiwan (China), Ukraine and the USA occupy 5,000 sq m to demonstrate their latest developments and accomplishments.

Russian exhibitors include 80 companies; among them are STANKIN Moscow State University of Technology, Invent,  Irlen Engineering, Sverdlovsk Tool Plant, Soldream Engineering Center, Laser Centre, Uran, Transet, Stanko Group, Delta-Test Scientific Industrial Corporation, Pumori Urals Machine Building Corporation, etc.

Foreign exhibitors include HIWIN Technologies Co. (Taiwan), Knuth (Germany), ZCC Cutting Tools Europe (Germany), and others.

The Belarusian national pavilion, organized by the Institute Belorgstankinprom, will demonstrate achievements of such companies as MZOR, Krasny Borets Machine-Tool Plant, Gomel Machine Tool Units Plant, Baranovichi Plant of Machine Appliances, Minsk Kirov Machine Tool Plant, Bel TAPAZ, StankoGomel, and Gomel Factory of Special Instruments and Technological Equipment.

Associated events are devoted to new themes such as additive technologies and composite materials. It will be especially interesting to professionals working in the aircraft, automotive, woodworking, metalworking industries, rolling-stock manufacturing, metallurgy, defense industry, instrument engineering, radio and electronic engineering, aerospace industry, robotic engineering, agriculture, machine building, shipbuilding, and electrical engineering.

The Stankoinstrument Association pays close attention to vocational education and training for machine building enterprises. It arranges the Section on Science, Vocational Education, Production. Russia’s leading technical colleges and universities will present their training and re-training programs for engineering and technical professionals, discuss equipment for training facilities, and integration of education and production.

One of the most important associated events will be the Conference on the Russian Innovative Machine Building, Integrated Technologies for Technical Upgrade and Retooling of Defense Industry Enterprises, organized by the Stankoinstrument Association and Expocentre AO.

President of the Stankoinstrument Association Georgiy Samodurov, heads of machine building enterprises, engineering companies and research institutes will take part in the conference.

One more event is the Meeting of the Committee on Machine Building and Tooling Industry of the Bureau of the Central Board of the Russian Engineering Union.

Technoforum traditionally hosts the 9th International Scientific and Technical Conference on Machinery Manufacturing: Traditions and Innovations, organized by the STANKIN Moscow State University of Technology and Expocentre AO. The conference participants include the world’s leading researchers and young specialists of high-tech machine building of leading representatives of the real sector of economy, senior students, PG students, professors and young researchers, 35 years old and younger, working in the field of high-tech machine building.

The Stankoinstrument Association and the Union of Industries of Railway Equipment arrange the Conference on Innovative Machine Building, Technologies, Tooling for Rolling Stock Manufacturing.
