Gantry will show Russian-assembled machines at Metalloobrabotka 2017 exhibition.

Moscow, Feb. 6, 2017 Gantry will show two metalworking machines at Metalloobrabotka 2017 exhibition which will take place in Moscow on May 15-19.

GL1530FE laser machine with a fiber-optics laser, manufactured by Senfeng company, has been designed for the processing of metal sheets in aviation, space, electronics, metro construction, automobile and other industries.

VMC850 vertical milling center is used to process parts made of iron, colored metals and alloys, using modern hard-alloy tools. It is capable of both rough milling and finishing. Above all, the machine can drill, cut threads, bore and do other operations. The NC system has a spline rapid processing function and loading pre-control required for diemoldmaking. This allows to speed-up the operations considerably.

Components from the leading world manufacturers are used to assemble the machines. The design is completed in modern CAD and CAM programs: Solidworks, Compas and Eplan.

The cooperation with well known world brands, such as Siemens, Weihong, Hiwin, HSD, HQD, TPD, Delta, Yaskawa, Omron allows the company to minimize the manufacturing time and costs.

Gantry OOO manufactures machines with a portal layout. They are provided with “gantry-axis” Y for portal movements transmitted by two synchronous gears. Such a design provides for a high stability of the structure during high-speed metalworking operations on big-size parts. All-welded frame is made of heavy-duty pipes with the thickness of walls 8-10 mm., reinforced at the connection points. After welding the parts are annealed for residual stress relieving. Parts mechanical processing is done on modern metal-cutting NC machines. This procedure provides for a high precision and durability of the machines throughout the service time.

The organizers of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metalworking Industry – Metalloobrabotka 2017 are Expocentre AO and the Russian Association of Machine Tool Manufacturers Stankoinstrument. The exhibition will take place at Moscow’s Expocentre from May 15 through May 19, 2017.
