Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov has sent a welcome address to the participants, organizers and visitors to the 17th edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metalworking Industry – Metalloobrabotka 2016.

He says that Metalloobrabotka is one the largest and prestigious international events for the metalworking industry. The minister believes that Metalloobrabotka confirms that the Russian industry enjoys sustainable development. The constant increase in the number of Russian exhibitors proves that measures taken to support domestic enterprises are sound and effective, which is the result of the state programs of industry development.

“The Government of the Russian Federation considers support of the metalworking industry as one of its priorities because the competitiveness of the Russian economy largely depends on this industry,” writes Mr. Manturov.

Metalloobrabotka was launched in 1984 to become the largest metalworking and machine-building show in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. It offers the latest solutions and machinery to upgrade the Russian machine-building industry.  Metalloobrabotka 2016 will run at Expocentre Fairgrounds on 23-27 May 2016.
